Electrical Designer QA

About the Job

Enginectra is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Designer - Quality Assurance. This role is instrumental in upholding our commitment to exceptional electrical design quality in a variety of project types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive review and validation of electrical designs from our internal team.
• Ensuring design compliance with both Canadian and US standards, as well as client specifications.
• Providing detailed feedback and direction to improve design accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborating with project management to align design quality with overall project goals.
• Serving as a crucial point of review before designs reach engineers for final approval.

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, ideally in a lead designer or similar role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record in quality assurance and design validation.
• Proficiency in using Bluebeam for design review and collaboration.
• Experience working with local engineers and familiarity with local engineering practices.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and compliance standards in Canada and/or the United States.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Specific Project Experience:

Must have direct experience in the following types of projects:

• Retrofits and renovations: Demonstrated ability to work on upgrading and improving existing electrical systems.
• Multi-family residential projects: Experience in designing electrical systems for residential complexes.
• Multi-tenant units: Including commercial and industrial projects, showcasing versatility in various property types.
