Renovations or Tenant Improvements
Mechanical & Electrical Contractors

In our collaboration on this project, our mechanical and electrical engineering design services were instrumental in preparing the existing downtown Calgary building for its transformation into a modern daycare facility on the 11th and 2nd floors.

Navigating the unique requirements of a daycare occupancy type within an existing building presented challenges that demanded innovative solutions and meticulous planning. Our team rose to the occasion, leveraging our expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering to devise comprehensive design solutions tailored specifically to the needs of a daycare environment.

From HVAC systems to lighting and power distribution, every aspect of our design prioritized the safety, comfort, and well-being of the children and staff who would inhabit the space. Our attention to detail ensured that the daycare facility would not only meet but exceed regulatory standards, providing a secure and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

By seamlessly integrating our designs with the existing infrastructure and coordinating effectively with architects and contractors, we facilitated the smooth transition of the building from base building condition to a fully functional daycare facility. Our contribution not only helped secure the necessary building permits but also laid the groundwork for a valuable community asset that will positively impact the lives of children and families in downtown Calgary for years to come.

Through our commitment to excellence and dedication to meeting the unique needs of the daycare occupancy type, we have played a significant role in shaping the future of childcare in the heart of the city.
