The goal for this project is to furnish a foundational mechanical, electrical, and energy modeling blueprint for the 22,000 sq.ft. multi-use development located at 504 Gateway Road NE in Airdrie. This L-shaped edifice will consist of 16 commercial units, tailored for both current commercial activities and prospective future development.

Airdrie's burgeoning commercial landscape is set to welcome a new multi-use development at 504 Gateway Road NE. Spanning a considerable 22,000 sq.ft., the L-shaped infrastructure is innovatively designed to accommodate 16 diverse commercial entities. Notably, units 1, 2, 6, 15, and 16 have been crafted with the foresight of either a two storey or mezzanine structure, contingent on future tenant preferences.

Details of the Project:

  1. Architectural (Electrical) - provide new lighting layout and lighting specification to be incorporated into engineering drawings - for permit and landlord approval.
  2. Architectural (Mechanical) provide reflected ceiling plan and plumbing fixtures locations required.
  3. Design will be carried out using the most recent Architectural layout

The scope of work involved the comprehensive design of HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, Fire protection and Alarm systems. Our team of engineers then provided detailed drawings and design specifications in coordination with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC contractors.
